This one day seminar will cover photography terminology and techniques that will help you take better photos. Topics will include: Proper exposure, creative use of depth of field, composition, macro photography, and various cameras and equipment to help you achieve better photos. At the end of this session, weather permitting, feel free to join the instructor in a walk of SIUE’s gardens. The instructor is willing to work with you to practice the techniques which were presented. If you wish to participate in this portion of the seminar, please bring your camera and dress appropriately. Light refreshments will be served!

The class will cover the basics of sprout growing, the economic and health benefits of growing your own and some tasty ways to incorporate sprouts into your everyday diet.
