Qualifying for financial aid:


In order to qualify for most financial aid, the following criteria must be met:

  1. Must have a social security number.
  2. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  4. Must be registered for selective service, if appropriate.
  5. Must be admitted as a degree-seeking student.
  6. Be enrolled at least half-time each term (six hours - undergraduates | five hours - classified graduates).
  7. Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  8. Cannot be in default on other student loans or owe a grant refund.
