Qualifying for financial aid:
In order to qualify for most financial aid, the following criteria must be met:
- Must have a social security number.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Must be registered for selective service, if appropriate.
- Must be admitted as a degree-seeking student.
- Be enrolled at least half-time each term (six hours - undergraduates | five hours - classified graduates).
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Cannot be in default on other student loans or owe a grant refund.
