Student Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid:

1. Go to www.pin.ed.gov to obtain a PIN (personal identification number) for yourself and one parent.
   
2. Use your PIN as your identifier and digital signature when you complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
   
3. Complete your FAFSA online using entries from your / your parents completed tax returns. The SIUE student financial aid code is 001759.

• First time loan borrowers, please make certain that you have completed the Entrance Counseling and the Electronic Master Promissory Note (EMPN).
