How does SIUE support your professional growth or activity as a Teacher-Scholar?
"
SIUE support services in technology and human resources support the work I do.  In particular, the Graduate School provides invaluable resources for my professional development."

What is a unique aspect of your professional life that enhances your service to the academic or greater community?
"Practicing pharmacy has taught me the human element, besides provision of a medical service, that truly impacts personal health. This allows me to more keenly focus my service and research activity."

How has one mentor or event shaped your career decision to become a university professor?
"
My mentor had such faith in my ability that he arranged with a colleague for me to be given consideration for a graduate program, even though I had not applied.  My interview went well, and I accepted the graduate position that led me into academia."
