SERVICE-RELATED CONSULTING AND MENTORING
Peer Consultants/Mentors can work with you on one-on-one basis to address your questions, challenges, or concerns relating to your service. Although you will find colleagues at your department or school with whom you can discuss these issues, we hope that an additional support system at the university level will also be helpful.
Many service opportunities are open to the faculty at the department, school, and university level. Service activities at any level bring faculty together and promote community building.
However, more service does not necessarily lead to successful and fulfilling service. Peer Consultants/Mentors can assist faculty in identifying service interests that can be most rewarding to the individual and most beneficial to the the academic community.
