Goals
Faculty Development Goals
- To create an environment that fosters inclusiveness and interdisciplinary relationships both personally and professionally
- To provide comprehensive services and programs to meet the needs of faculty in their professional development as teacher/scholars
- To provide support for the innovative design of curricula, instruction, and assessment
Diversity Goals
- To develop a Diversity Statement that is inclusive, clear and compliant with the University Goals
- To develop, implement, and manage a University-wide Faculty Diversity Program which includes: elements of cultural and social diversity, civility, ethics, and collective responsibility
- Develop a Faculty Recruitment and Retention Program including specific diversity initiatives to recruit and retain underrepresented groups
Curriculum Review Process Goals
- Review new course applications and course revisions
- Revise/enhance curriculum review process with the Faculty Senate for timeliness and efficiency
- Develop a clear definition for graduate vs. professional faculty policies
- Enhance the Form 90/91 process
- Review criteria for clinical professors in all schools (professional programs)
