As a follow up to the Thursday talk on the Common Problem Project, the following will be discussed:

* A discussion of problem-based learning

* Some basics of problem-solving

* The benefits of cross-disciplinary teaching and learning

* How problem-based and project learning encourages community engagement

* Matching up faculty for projects

* Organizing classes, scheduling, and other logistical problems

* Student teams and team dynamics

* Working with community partners

* Assessment of student learning

* Resources available
