| Rick Lallish Program Director of Wastewater Operations | |
![]() | Rick Lallish has 15 years of experience in the field of wastewater collection systems and treatment plant operations. At ERTC, he is responsible for the wastewater operations training program and instructs pre-service and in-service students in wastewater treatment plant operations. Before coming to ERTC, he operated a 1.5 million-gallon-per-day orbal-oxidation treatment plant that served a community with over 7500 residences, a federal prison and two major industries. His experience also includes the operation of wastewater lagoons, sand filters, an activated sludge plant, and a collection system consisting of over 25 miles of main with eight lift stations. His experience includes treatment plant operations, laboratory analysis, and liaisons between the plant and the local industries. | David Wesselmann Assistant Coordinator for Water Quality Control | |
![]() | David is a 11 year Air Force veteran with experience in water quality control, hazardous material control and waste sampling, radiological hazard control, and industrial hygiene assessments at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, Kunsan Air Base Korea, and Anderson Air Base, Guam. Mr. Wesselmann also performed duties as an instructor at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, training medical, public health, and environmental personnel for field deployments. ![]() | Marty is the Public Works Director for the Village of Roxana, Illinois. He has worked for the Environmental Resource Training Center as an adjunct instructor since 1982, teaching Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Drinking Water Supply Operator training courses. Marty holds a Class A, Public Water Supply Operators License and a Class 1, Water Pollution Control Operators License. He has been a contributing author on two articles published in the journal of the American Water Works Association and authored training materials for California State University at Sacramento, on Ion Exchange Softening, and training materials for Illinois Public Water Supply Operators on Ion Exchange Softening. | Marcia Webb ERTC Support Staff | |
![]() | Marcia manages and coordinates the daily activities of ERTC. She assists the Director and ERTC staff in carrying out the administrative, personnel and fiscal management of ERTC as well as recruiting and registering students for ERTC classes and workshops. Marcia also serves as the ERTC Self-Study Correspondence Course Coordinator, the IEPA Cross Connection Control Program Coordinator, and the Career Program Counselor for the ERTC Pre-Service Water Quality Control Operations Program.
