Greetings from Dean Sevim

Giving to the School of Engineering

 “Building the Engineering Community”

The SIUE School of Engineering boasts an outstanding roster of highly qualified and academically talented faculty and a state-of-the art facility.  Combined with bright and capable students, a pool of successful alumni, supportive friends, and connected area businesses, the School is fast becoming the focal point for an Engineering Community.

We invite you to join us in building this Engineering Community.  Your support will help us with outreach efforts to attract the best and the brightest into the fields of engineering, science, and technology.  We especially want to work on attracting and retaining a more diverse population of students.  By helping to establish a solid base of scholarships, you can enable these young minds to be successful and encourage them to choose future careers in engineering, computer science, and construction management.

Donor support can ensure that the School is able to hire and keep top-notch faculty focused on preparing the best in their fields. Private donations can help maintain a premier facility, support forward-looking research, and nurture the School’s partnership in the economic development of this region.

Contributions, especially those for endowment, can make the difference between a good program and an exceptional School—one that is respected and known throughout this area and the nation.  Your gift, today, can make such a vibrant and integral Engineering Community possible.

Come . . . be a part of our Engineering Community!
