Important Note: All future Master's Exit Examinations will be open book only. No notes, old tests, old homework, etc, will be allowed. Additionally, the books must be your own books - no Interlibrary Loan books will be allowed. Books with copious hand written notes in the margins will not be allowed.

Master's Exit Examination

The next Master's Exit Examination is Friday, Mar.29th at 1:00 pm in room EB2011. Students wishing to take this exam must register with Mrs. LaTempt-Brazier, the ECE department secretary in room EB3054 no later than Mar. 22th. You may also e-mail her at: jlatemp@siue.edu.

The test time limit is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

There will be 3 problems in each of the following categories:

  • Communication
  • Computer Architecture
  • Computer Vision and image Processing
  • Control Systems
  • Digital Signal Processing
  • Networking
  • Power Systems
  • Signal Theory and Stochastic Processes
  • VLSI Design

Students will select and work a total of 5 problems from 2 of the categories listed above.

ECE Graduate Assistant Applications / Interviews for Fall 2013

Interviews for ECE teaching assistants for Fall Semester 2013 is Friday, Apr 5th at Muren'office,EB 3034. Positions are open to all ECE graduate students who will be attending full time (6 or more hours) during the Spring semester.

Applications are required and may be obtained from the ECE Secretary, Julie LaTempt-Brazier, room EB3054 no later than Mar.29th. All applications will be reviewed and considered. Those that are chosen for interviews will be notified by e-mail and scheduled for an interview.

The 'e'
