Dean's Message

Thank you for your interest in the SIUE School of Engineering. I am proud to be the dean of an outstanding engineering school that has: Nearly one hundred percent placement of our students after graduation Continuously increasing freshman ACT scores Award-winning faculty Increasing demand for our programs 2+2 programs with area community colleges As you explore our site, you will find that SIUE is home to one of the most comprehensive engineering schools in the Metropolitan Saint Louis area. Our students are not only educated in the classroom and laboratory, but also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through:

• Internships and co-ops at companies such as The Boeing Co., Emerson, Tarlton and Monsanto
• Undergraduate research projects
• Several student organizations and competition teams such as concrete canoe, robotics, mini-baja, formula car, steel bridge and solar car teams

When students join our programs, they also join an Engineering Community formed by the SIUE School of Engineering. This community ensures the quality and success of our engineering programs for years to come. Our community is the result of successful partnerships with:
