School of Nursing
Periodically, the School of Nursing may have various openings throughout the year (AY 2014-2015 and Summer 2015) for various full time, non-tenure, academic year or academic year term instructor appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term appointments in Major teaching responsibilities in undergraduate or graduate program at its Edwardsville and/or Carbondale campuses.
A Master’s degree in Nursing required; doctorate preferred. Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) required for graduate faculty position. Teaching experience and research experience preferred. Pediatrics, maternal child, public health, medical-surgical, nurse practitioner, health care informatics, nursing administration or school nursing education and experience is highly desirable. RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri required. Programs are CCNE accredited.
Terms of Appointment
Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
Source of Funds
Commensurate with training and experience.
