Director SIUE Regional Nursing Program at Carbondale (Internal applicants only)
School of Nursing
The Director will be located at SIU Carbondale and reports to the SIUE Assistant Dean for Undergraduate and Alternative Programs in Nursing and to the SIUE Dean of Nursing as needed. The Director is a member of the Dean’s Executive Team and will attend bi-weekly Executive meetings via live teleconferencing. Some evenings and occasional Saturday and Sunday required.
PhD in Nursing or related field required; MS in Nursing if PHD is not in nursing. RN licensure in Illinois required. Rank and salary is dependent upon qualifications. Teaching experience required. Medical-Surgical role specialization preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must enjoy working with Student Nurses. Ability to maintain students’ database and generate reports.
Terms of Appointment
Full-time, tenure track, (twelve-month) appointment (January 2, 2014 through May 15, 2015) with possibility of renewal
