HIRING UNIT: SCHOOL OF NURSING
TITLE/RANK : LECTURER/INSTRUCTOR (VARIOUS)
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES : Periodically, the School of Nursing may have various openings throughout the year (AY 2013-2014 and Summer 2014) for various full time, non-tenure, academic year or academic year term instructor appointments and part-time, non-tenure, semester term appointments in Major teaching responsibilities in undergraduate or graduate program at its Edwardsville and/or Carbondale campuses.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : A Master's degree in Nursing required; doctorate preferred. Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) required for graduate faculty position. Teaching experience and research experience preferred. Pediatrics, maternal child, public health, medical-surgical, nurse practitioner, health care informatics, nursing administration or school nursing education and experience is highly desirable. RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri required.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT : Academic, non-tenure, term, percent of appointment varies.
SOURCE OF FUNDS
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with training and experience.
