Assistant Ethanol Plant Scientific Analyst

Job Description/Responsibilities
The purpose of the Assistant Ethanol Plant Scientific Analyst position is to assist in research and client services.  The duties include assisting in quality control testing for the pilot plant, fermentation research and analytical laboratory commercial services, assisting in writing reports and interpreting data, assisting in troubleshooting various scientific instruments, and ensuring all standard regulations and lab safety regulations are followed correctly. 

The NCERC, the staff, and the clients all benefit.  The NCERC benefits from laboratory technical support, which allows growth to meet the NCERC business objectives.  The staff benefits from strong support of new entry level positions to assist in building depth to the NCERC staff resources.  The clients benefit from the most cost effective resources to perform their trials.  

Minimum Qualifications
(A) Bachelor's degree in life science or closely related field
     OR
(B) Associates in Applied Science (AAS) AND two (2) years of industrial
     and/or commercial lab experience.
     OR
(C) four (4) years of industrial and/or commercial lab experience

Illinois residency required

Salary
$2.630 per month
