Job Description/Responsibilities
The Clerk position prepares, enters into Banner, and distributes ITS salary time records including verification of employee benefits balances.  S/he performs duties associated with campus copier lease program and campus computer lease program.  Verifies, prepares, copies, and files requisitions, invoices distribution forms, travel reimbursements, personnel forms, receipts, and various other electronic forms to ensure timely processing of requests and payments for ITS.  This position also Enters data into ITS inventory system, ITS financial system, telemanagement system, and other ITS-BA systems and files.  This position will assist with the timely return of leased equipment and will work, at times, in a warehouse setting.  The position will be trained and certified in forklift/pallet jack usage.  The Clerk position may be assigned additional related duties and responsibilities in support of the department’s mission and goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school graduation or equivalent
  2. Any one or any combination of the following types of preparation:
  • Work experience performing clerical/secretarial work, including use of computer  systems
  • College or university coursework in Office Occupations, Business Administration Business Education or closely related fields
  • Vocational training which provided knowledge of generally accepted clerical procedures comparable to that gained in “b” above
  • College or university coursework in any curriculum that totals 1.0 unit according to the following conversion rates:
         18 months of “a”
         24 semester hours of “b”
         12 months of “c”
         48 semester hours of “d”

      3.  Ability to keyboard accurately at a rate of 25 w.p.m.

$1,868 per month
