Office Support Specialist
Special Ed and Communication Disorders
This position provides secretarial and clerical services to the chair and faculty for the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders; to assist the chair in the managing of faculty activities, fiscal activities, student activities, and office operations; to provide service to the graduate, undergraduate and potential student for the SPE and SPAA programs. The Office Support Specialist may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals.
Additional Knowledge and Skills Preferred
Knowledge of P-card and other SIUE fiscal rules and procedures for budgets, contracts and disbursements; familiarity with guidelines for storage, retention and retrieval of office information; good written and oral communication skills; computer knowledge; must be familiar with preparing travel vouchers.
Illinois residency required
$2,278 per month
