Job Description/Responsibilities
The Food Service Cashier provides fast and accurate reports of food purchases. This position is responsible for proper money handling techniques of all payment transactions in the University Center Food Services areas. This position reports directly to the Administrator III responsible for cashiers. The Food Service Cashier may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals. 

Part-time (70%)
Hours: Monday & Thursday 4:15pm – 8:15pm, Tuesday 4:30pm – 10:15pm, Saturday 10:15am-7:15pm, Sunday 3:15pm-7:15pm

Part-time (68%)
Hours: Monday & Wednesday 4:15pm-10:15pm, Thursday 3:30pm-10:00pm, and Sunday 11:15am-7:15pm

Minimum Qualifications
None

Additional Knowledge and Skills Preferred by Department
Ability to count change without the assistance of a calculator, arithmetical ability

Illinois residency required

Salary
$11.95 per hour
