Job Description/Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to assist in the preparation and cooking of meats, fish, poultry, eggs, fruits and vegetables for serving.  This position also assists in the preparation of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts.  The Cook’s Helper prepares and cooks short-order items and prepares food for special events.  This position also cleans the kitchen, equipment and utensils and performs other related duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday through Wednesday from 11:00am-7:00pm, Thursday 10:00am-6:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am-6:00pm. However, this position must be available nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

1.  Knowledge of food terms and methods of preparing foods
2.  Ability and willingness to follow instructions
