Assistant/Associate Professor, Pediatric Dentistry

Job Description/Responsibilities
The Assistant/Associate Professor is a full-time, tenure track position in the Section of Pediatric Dentistry, Department of Growth, Development and Structure.  Responsibilities for this position include didactic, laboratory and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral and advanced programs, independent research and service.  This position is also strongly encouraged to work in collaboration with other faculty, in both research and teaching.  Opportunity for extramural practice is available.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a CODA accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in compliance with the Illinois Dental Practice Act including Illinois Sedation Permit A.  Advanced training in pediatric dentistry from an ADA accredited program and Board certification or eligibility is also required.  Candidates must be eligible for local hospital credentialing.  Prior teaching experience is desirable.

Terms of Appointment
Full-time, tenure track position beginning October 1, 2017
