Job Description
SIUE is seeking an excellent teacher and strong researcher.  AOS: Modern Philosophy.  AOC: Metaphysics/Epistemology.  S/he must be able to teach Reasoning and Argumentation.  The department also has teaching needs in American Philosophy and Philosophy of Art.  Three courses per semester.  Usual non-teaching duties included.  Possible summer teaching.

Qualifications Required
PHD required.  ABDs may be considered for a one-year term appointment at the rank of Instructor, but must complete degree within one year of employment.  Teaching experience required. 

Terms of Appointment
Academic, tenure-track, 100%, continuing, 9 months, beginning August 16, 2014.
