Job Description/Responsibilities
The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in the area of organizational behavior; a secondary teaching interest in either Human Resource Management or entrepreneurship is preferred.  Teaching assignments will include both undergraduate and graduate courses.  Successful candidates for the position will have a strong research engagement and/or publications record in the organizational behavior discipline.

The ideal candidate for this position will embrace the Teacher-Scholar model, be student-centered, demonstrate a commitment to promoting experiential learning, and incorporate online and blended education models.  SIUE is dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge and as such, candidates must be prepared to pursue a well-defined stream of research leading to the publication of high quality, peer-reviewed journal articles.  The ability to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, guide students in scholarly activities, and pursue externally funded research is a plus. Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD, or be ABD, in organizational behavior or a closely related field.  Preference will be given to graduates of AACSB accredited institutions.

Terms of Appointment
Full time, continuing, tenure-eligible appointment beginning August 2018.
