Job Description
The Director of Executive Education consults with businesses to explore potential areas of research and to identify opportunities for collaboration and program development, as well as performs market research to determine opportunities that can be addressed by a School of Business Executive Education program.  The Director develops and designs programs and works with faculty and outside vendors to develop curriculum for programs.  The Director builds relationships with business leaders in the community and works with advisory boards to identify educational needs of the business community and to develop opportunities for student and faculty research within the business community.  The Director will manage all instructional components including program promotion, staffing, schedules, program budget and support personnel. The Director will assess effectiveness of programs and change program curriculum as needed based on assessment and client feedback.  The Director must be available early morning, evening, and/or weekends occasionally for meetings/program sessions.  Some metro St. Louis travel is required. 

Experience: Five to ten years of educational training, administrative and/or managerial experience.  Must have supervisory experience.
Educational Background: Master’s degree required.
Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, administrative skills, marketing and management skills.
Certifications: Project Management Professional preferred. 

Terms of Appointment
Administrative Staff, 100%, non-bargaining, term (July 1 through June 30) with possibility of renewal.
