Visiting Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor – Subject to Budgetary Approval
School of Business – Department of Economics & Finance
The Department of Economics & Finance seeks an applied econometrician of any rank for a one academic year visiting position beginning Fall 2014 and ending at the conclusion of the Spring 2015 semester. The candidate’s content-related field of expertise can be in any of the sub-fields of Economics. Experience in the analysis of panel data and forecasting is preferred. The successful candidate is expected to be acquainted with widely-used software such as SAS and STATA. He/she will teach undergraduate and master’s level Econometrics and Forecasting courses (two courses per semester). Additionally, the candidate is expected to oversee and attend a weekly research seminar where faculty and graduate students will present their research papers in an informal setting. This is a term, non-tenure eligible position.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics, publications in peer–reviewed journals, an active research agenda, and teaching experience.

Full-time term, August 16, 2014 – May 15, 2015, non-tenure eligible position
