SIUE's Department of Educational Outreach can help. We offer the courses teachers need to maintain certification, earn degrees and advance your career! Plus, our courses are online, off campus and at affordable prices!

Earn your credits in a university environment - at times, places and affordable rates that work for you.

  • Get one-on-one help to find the courses you need by calling our Distance Learning office at 618-650-3210 or email. Or sign-up for our distance learning mailing list . We can help you find courses that work for your schedule and budget, and we can help guide you through admissions and enrollment.
  • Explore our course offerings using searchable course schedules on CougarNet. Choose semester or dates you need, and then search under one of our education subjects. Look for classes offered on campus, on the Web or in your community!
  • Contact the SIUE School of Education for more information about SIUE's education courses, alumni activities and teacher certification requirements.

Our courses are taught by practicing professionals and University faculty, and we offer one-on-one assistance for finding courses that fit your needs and your schedule.

Keep in mind - SIUE alumni and former students are encouraged to continue their professional development at SIUE, and area teachers who have never attended SIUE in the past are also invited to participate in all professional development programs!

SIUE education classes are offered at locations throughout the Metro East, including Centralia, Belleville, Edwardsville, Litchfield, Red Bud, O'Fallon, Granite City and East St. Louis, Illinois.
