The School of Education is hosting our first “UnEvent” fundraiser this year so we can raise funds for student scholarships, school initiatives, and other programs. With no costs for entertainment, catering, decorations, or room rental, 100% of every contribution will support students. Since there is no actual event, each contribution can be fully tax-deductible!
You can feel good about not attending and are guaranteed a good time as you will NOT have to get dressed up, hire a babysitter, fight traffic or listen to speeches.

What is an UnEvent?
The UnEvent is a fundraiser that never happens, except on paper. You are invited to participate by making a donation that will support SIUE School of Education students. Since there are no expenses, your contribution is 100% tax-deductible.
Why are we having an UnEvent?
The UnEvent is a good way to raise funds and have fun at the same time. Normally the expenses of a fundraising event are equal to donations. The only costs of the UnEvent include the invitations and postage.
Why participate?
• The opportunity to support a cause you are passionate about without leaving your home.
• No need to pay for fancy dresses, tuxedo rentals, hair stylist, etc.
• One less event to put on your busy calendar.
