Admission Requirements


Students must be declared majors to be admitted to the program. Declared majors must have a 3.0 GPA, have completed 42 hours of college level course work, and have been approved for admission by the program. Complete applications must be submitted by February 20th of spring semester for the following fall declaration.

Students with a strong academic record may be eligible for direct admission to the program.

Graduation Requirements

In addition to meeting all program requirements, students must also satisfactorily complete a culminating project in SPPA 499: Senior Assignment Seminar. Second-degree students within the program must also register for and attend SPPA 499: Senior Assignment Seminar.
