Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Advising
Applications for admission to the undergraduate program are accepted twice a year.
1. Undergraduate requirements to declare include: A 3.0 cumulative GPA, 42 hours of college-level course work, and approval of admission from the program. Admission is a competitive process and not all applicants will be admitted. Admission also requires a 200-word self statement, one-page resume, transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (SIUE students do not need to send transcripts from SIUE but rather should submit an unofficial copy from CougarNet), and the program application for admission.
2.Once you receive your admission letter and customized academic plan, please review it and schedule a first appointment in Student Services. Your plan will include personalized copies of the following forms: Program Sheet and Declaration Letter. Students must be accepted into the program to officially declare a Speech Language Pathology and Audiology major.
3.You will continue to work with an advisor in Student Services throughout your major.
