Welcome to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders
The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders is composed of two programs: the program of Special Education and the program of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Each of the program strands offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. Programs of study in each strand are field- and clinic-intense, providing early and on-going experiences in classrooms, medical facilities, and on-campus clinics. Descriptions of the graduate and undergraduate programs offered through the Department are provided on separate pages. This web site will continue to be updated as changes in certification requirements and program expectations evolve.
