The department offers masters degrees in the following areas: Clinical-Adult Psychology, Clinical Child and School Psychology, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. We also offer a Specialist Degree in School Psychology. All our graduate programs offer students a balance between theory and application. While our graduate programs prepare students to compete successfully for jobs at the masters level, many of our graduates go on to doctoral study.

In recent years, our department and faculty have received numerous honors including:

  • In 2002, Dr. Sue Thomas received the SIUE Alumni Association Great Teacher Award
  • In 2009, Dr. Laura Pawlow also received the Alumni Association's Great Teacher Award
