About Dr. Murphy

Jason Murphy earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Saint Louis University in 2013. He is an alumnus of SIUE’s Clinical Adult Psychology graduate program. Before coming to SIUE, he completed a post-doctoral clinical and teaching fellowship at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. His research focuses on psychological assessment, specifically assessment of malingering and computer-based assessment. His therapeutic orientation is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and positive psychology schools. He has extensive assessment experience with adults and adolescents in outpatient, medical, and forensic settings.
