Additional Responsibilities:

Turn in clock hours to OCECA. 100 clock hours of observation are required for certification.

Application for Clinical Field Experience forms are required for KIN 330, 435, 461 and 462. The Application must be filed early in prior term to maximize placement options.

The Content Area Test in Physical Education K-12(#144) must be passed prior to Student Teaching. Students may register for this test and print the Study Guide at www.icts.nesinc.com. You will need to register at least six months prior to student teaching. Five attempts maximum.

The APT (Assesment of Professional Teaching) Special K-12(#104) must be passed prior to Certification. Students may register and print the Study Guide at www.icts.nesinc.com. This test should be taken prior to or early in the Student Teaching semester. Five attempts maximum.

Apply for Graduation from SIUE when you have completed 90 hour This is approximately one year prior to Graduation.
