Exercise Science Advisor
Undergraduate Advisement
Upon admission to the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education, students will be advised by a professional advisor within the department. Prior to declaring their majors in Health Education or Exercise Science, students are advised in
General Advising.
Students who have already declared their major or minor within the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education will be able to conveniently schedule appointments on-line through
GradesFirst (
https://siue.gradesfirst.com/ ). GradesFirst appointment scheduling allows students to check advisor availability anytime and provides an email reminder prior to the appointment.
Students who will be declaring a major within the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education within one semester may call 618-650-3252 or 618-650-3340 to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor.
All students must meet with the advisor prior to receiving an Alternate PIN which permits enrollment through the
CougarNet self-registration system.
Advising appointments for Spring Web Registration typically begin the first week of September and continue through October. Fall and Summer Web Registration advising appointments begin in early January and continue through the spring semester. Be sure to schedule an advising appointment prior to your
Web Registration date for your classification. Schedule your appointment early to avoid delays.
