DESCRIPTION:
Social networking and support group who understands bisexuality as a normal part of life.  Goal is to develop a sense of community and mutual support within the St. Louis area.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Growing American Youth brings gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning youth 21 years of age and younger in St. Louis and the surrounding areas together.  We offer a place for youth to meet and friends and to give and receive support in a safe environment.

Volunteers needed for variety of tasks including event planning and execution.

Project Ark AIDS/HIV Resource and Knowledge

DESCRIPTION:
Resource to answer any question regarding HIV, STI, sexual health.  Staff members of the heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgendered communities.  Free OraSure HIV Testing.  This swab test is confidential regardless of age and results are known within 10 to 14 days. 

Office hours Monday – Friday, 8 – 5.

Free HIV/STI workshops held on the 2nd Friday of each month, 6 – 9 pm.

Specific Groups:
Female support group meetings held 2nd & last Wednesday of each month.
13-24 year olds “Tuesday Night Crew”
18-29 year olds “The Guardian Project”

SIUE-Counseling Services

DESCRIPTION: Provide counseling services for all areas of concern.  Preliminary survey of needs required, approximately 20-30 minutes, to allow the best counselor to be utilized for the person.
