Parenting is a many-faceted job with ever-changing challenges.  The F.A.C.E.S. program strives to provide parents with the tools they need to meet the challenges of parenting.  Whether it’s information about certain stage of development, services offered by Childcare Centers and preschools, getting ready for kindergarten or finding needed social services, parent will find it on this page.

The F.A.C.E.S. program offers:
• Pre-Kindergarten classes for children who meet eligibility requirements
• Home visits
• Developmental screenings for infants and children under five
• Referral to Child and Family Conncetion for assistance with health and/or developmental problems of birth-three year olds
• Referral to and assistance with social service agencies when needed
• Weekly playgroup sessions for birth-three year olds
• Parent education classes (childcare is provided)
• Teen parent group
• Parent Lending Library

Children’s Home + Aid Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Program supports and strengthens the child care system in Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair, and Washington counties by educating child care providers, families, employers, and communities; increasing the supply of child care; and advocating on behalf of quality child care.

For the young child they offer early childhood education, as well as health and nutrition services.  For families and individuals they offer mental health counseling, social services, family literacy, and various individual strengthening and family support services.
