Course Descriptions can be found on the Graduate School Website. 

+ Students may choose to begin their graduate studies the summer prior to the first fall. Students may take an elective during their summer session.

* Students must complete 2 hours of electives within area of specialization or in related areas. These courses vary from summer to summer.

** Students must pass the Test of Academic Proficiency by the end of the first semester of graduate academic course work. Students must pass the Content Area Test prior to the spring semester of their 2nd year of graduate academic coursework.

Students are expected to complete at least four semesters of practicum in the SIUE Speech-Language hearing Center. Off-campus practicum opportunities are required during the second year. Students must pass the Test of Academic Proficiency within the first year of graduate coursework. Student take the Content Area Test prior to the spring semesters of their second year of graduate coursework.
