Welcome to the web site of the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education. Students in this department have traditionally been prepared to teach either physical or health education in public schools. With the evolutionary changes occurring in the field during the past decade, graduates now enter a variety of additional vocations and professions. In addition to teaching physical or health education, students are able to focus their studies on the theoretical and scientific bases of Exercise and Wellness and Community Health at the undergraduate level, and Exercise Physiology, Sport Management, Adapted Physical Education, Pedagogy, and Sport and Exercise Behavior at the graduate level.e-mail: wvogler@siue.edu
