Applications to the Ed.S. program are accepted annually and must be received by April 1, 2012. Because Ed.S. and Ed.D. students are enrolled in the same foundational classes, doctoral applicants will receive admission preference; the remaining seats will then be filled with Ed.S. students. All Ed.S. applicants should have a grade point average of 3.25 or above, possess an M. S. in Education or its equivalent, and hold or have held an administrative position requiring an Illinois Type 75 certificate.
Students must complete an internship in school district administration and successfully defend a paper that reflects research, a special project, or problem investigated during a field experience.
We are currently admitting students for Spring 2013. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
