Project PRIME
Project PRIME is a University recognized student organization dedicated to increasing the number of minority students in the various fields of education at SIUE. Members of PRIME serve as tutors and mentors to area high school students.
During the Spring 2008 semester, PRIME hosted a roundtable of SIUE and area educators and school administrators. The discussion by participants of “Bringing the Rainbow to the Colorless Sea” roundtable focused on barriers for minority education majors at SIUE.
