Applicants with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.9 may be considered upon appeal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;        &lt;li&gt;A valid teaching certificate from an accredited institution.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;[&lt;a href="#top"&gt;return to top&lt;/a&gt;]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;a name="procede" style="text-decoration:none;color:black"&gt;Admission&lt;/a&gt; Procedure:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Complete and submit the Graduate Admissions Application (classified) form, which can be obtained from the Student Service Center, or online at &lt;a href="http://www.siue.edu/GRADUATE/application/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;www.siue.edu/GRADUATE/application/index.html&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Also, you will need to submit official transcripts of all college coursework to the Graduate School.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Complete and submit the Curriculum &amp;amp; Instruction Application form, which can be obtained from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Founders Hall, room 1133, 618.650.3082, or online at &lt;a href="http://www.siue.edu/education/ci/graduate/pdf/grad_ap.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.siue.edu/education/ci/graduate/pdf/grad_ap.pdf&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;The completed Graduate Admissions Application, the Curriculum &amp;amp; Instruction Application, and transcripts are reviewed by C &amp;amp; I faculty for admission into a graduate program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Upon notification of acceptance, make an appointment to meet with your assigned faculty mentor to plan a program of study.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;As an unclassified student (prior to admission to a program), you may enroll in up to 12 hours of graduate credit as an unclassified graduate student. These credits may be transferred into a graduate program by completing a Graduate Student Request Form (LINK).
