About the School of Education

School of Education Executive Advisory Board

The members of the Advisory Board, in partnership with the Dean of the School of Education, actively engage in such activities as are appropriate to achieve the following:

• Strengthen the educational programs and services of the School, through members’ experience and advice.
  

•  Identify and establish collaborative partnerships that serve the needs of the community and region.
  
• Build relationships between the business community and the School.
  
• Promote good public relations for the School, regionally and nationally.
  
• Help secure resources that will assist the School in attaining its mission and achieving regional and national prominence.
  
• Advise and assist the Dean on internal and external affairs which influence the successful attainment of the School’s mission.
  
• Review special situations, make recommendations and assist in appropriate action on such projects as the Dean may request and identify.
