Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans
To help cover the costs of education of graduate and professional students, SIUE is offering Federal Direct PLUS Loans through various lenders. Graduate students can receive up to the cost of education less financial aid received each academic year. Eligibility for this loan depends on creditworthiness of the student and there is an option to add an endorser. Direct Graduate PLUS Loans have a fixed interest of 8.50%. Although repayment begins 60 days after disbursement, an in-school deferment is available for students enrolled at least half-time. First time borrowers need to complete

Master Promissory Note (MPN). For the fastest processing, MPNs are available online with an e-signature option.
