Amanda MatthiesenAmanda graduated from Principia College in 2000 with a double major in Elementary Education and Philosophy. Shortly after graduation, she began teaching in the St. Louis Public Schools. Her teaching experience includes three years of teaching first grade, three and a half years of teaching fourth grade and one year of teaching second grade.
In college, Amanda played tennis, basketball and soccer. Her hobbies still include anything involving sports and being active. Currently she runs marathons, plays on a softball team and enjoys taking on forth and fifth graders in a pick-up game of basketball.
