Policies and Procedures:
• Campus Recreation offers massage therapy to all current SIUE students, faculty/staff, and Student Fitness Center members. Gift certificates are available and can be purchased at the Student Fitness Center reception desk. A membership is not required to use the service or to purchase a gift certificate. Massages are performed daily by licensed massage therapist.
• Massage Reservations: Please come to the Student Fitness Center or call the Wellness Center to book your massage appointment. Payment must be made when scheduling an appointment. If all the appointment times are reserved, please ask to be placed on our waiting list.
• Missed Appointments: If appointments are missed, refunds will not be issued. If an appointment cannot be kept, arrangements to reschedule must be made 24 hours in advance. After two missed appointments, massage services will be unavailable for the remainder of the semester.
• There are many payment options available for massages.
Please arrive ten minutes early to fill out the necessary paper work for your massage appointment.

| Alisa Carrillo Bio: Alisa is originally from Santa Anna, California. She has three brothers and one sister. She graduated from SIUE with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2007. She played basketball for two years while she was a student at SIUE. She then went to massage therapy school at Sanford-Brown in Collinsville and graduated there in September of 2008. Alisa is glad to be back at SIUE with old friends and is looking forward to meeting new people. | Darrell Price Bio: Darrell has been a union painter for a number of years, and this has given him many of the aches and pains people usually have. He grew up in the Metro East area and has a son, a daughter and two grandchildren. He was in the Marine Corps Reserves from 1976 to 1983. He attended St. Louis College of Health Careers and has been a massage therapist since 2001. He has worked at health clubs, salons, and free-lance with chair massages. His specialties include trigger points, deep tissue and relaxation. Darrell looks forward to helping staff, alumni, students and families. |
| Nikki Hill Bio: Nikki graduated from The Body Therapy Center & School of Massage in 2005. She has worked locally in a chiropractor’s office and salons. Working in the chiropractors office has given her experience in athletic injuries as well as everyday aches and pains. She is experienced in therapeutic touch, Swedish, and prenatal massage with a strong command of deep tissue and trigger point therapy, myofascial release, sports rehabilitation, and stretching. Nikki is happily married with a teenage daughter and a chocolate lab named Ranger. She is looking forward to helping students, staff, alumni, and families relieve their stress. | |
