MIND & BODY

STRENGTH

Yogalates

Need to relax? This is the perfect mid-day break you need. Our 50 minute class is designed to help you begin the second half of your day refreshed and focused. Blending the two practices of Yoga and Pilates allows you to strengthen both the mind and the body through the combination of poses and exercises. Join this fusion class for an intense workout designed to develop core strength, tone muscles, increase flexibility, and reduce stress!

Cougar Strength**

Intimidated by the Free Weight Room? Need help with your lifting form? Come learn proper lifting techniques and develop power and strength through free weight lifts taught by our Nationally Certified  Personal Trainers! Whether you have been lifting for years or new to free weight lifting this class is for you!

Tabata Yoga & More

NEW! This yoga class will focus on sculpting, toning, and stretching the muscles of your body as well as your mind. Work towards strengthening your asana during this quicker more physical version of hatha yoga. Come ready to take your practice seriously but yourself lightly as you explore your personal edge while discovering your physical strengths and mental focus.

Total Exhaust**

This dynamic duo of strength and cardiovascular conditioning offers a challenging and motivational class environment to push your body’s limit. Not for the weak!

Sunrise Yoga**

Start your day off right with this yoga class specifically designed to strengthen and sculpt your muscles while finding your breath and experiencing calm. Get ready to stretch yourself strong!

DANCE CARDIO

Yoga

A combination of relaxation, breathing techniques and exercise, which combats stress and helps circulation and movement of the joints. This is the perfect class to both relax you after the weekend and prepare for the week to come!

Zumba®**

Dance your way to a fitter you! This class combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. With exciting and unique moves you will have fun while getting fit. No dance experience necessary.

Pi-Yo®

NEW! Join us in this hybrid Yoga and Pilates class. The perfect blend of two extremely popular disciplines combined in one invigorating class. Enjoy the benefits of Yoga and Pilates which include improved flexibility, muscle strength and endurance, strong core, improved balance and enhanced relaxation and stress release.

Aqua Rumba

YOU asked for it and YOU got it!!! Back at a new time! If you love Zumba then you will love this class! It gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout! Integrating dance moves in the water you will make waves in your workout routine! Aqua Rumba blends Latin fused rhythms into a challenging, water based workout that’s cardio conditioning, body toning, and most of all, exhilarating!

CARDIO

Morning Bootcamp

Jumpstart your day and metabolism! Cardio and strength components combined for maximum effectiveness. Push yourself throughout this non-stop total body workout. This sweat-drenched session will leave you energized for the day. Shock your system and push yourself to new limits in each and every class. This class will provide an intense workout for every fitness level.

Zumba® Toning

Blend toning techniques with high energy Zumba® moves. This calorie burning class combined with strength-training will help enhance rhythm and build strength. You’ll learn how to use weighted, maraca-like Zumba toning sticks while shaking it to your favorite songs!

Bootcamp**

Ready to take your workout to the next level? This new and exciting sports-inspired class combines plyometrics, interval training, and strength training for a total body workout that pushes your body to the limit, challenging both your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. This class takes place in the Student Activity Center gym.

Just Dance**

NEW! Come gain a new perspective on Fitness. Forget about time as you move, shake and drop the pounds. This class is 50 minutes of easy-to-learn choreographed dances and lots of variety. With a combination of great music, high energy and smooth moves this class will have you coming back to shake it again!

Sports Conditioning

NEW! This class focuses on cardio conditioning by incorporating calisthenics, plyometrics, speed and agility drills. A class for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, to focus on developing strength, stamina and agility needed in sports activities. Come use all the equipment you don’t see in the gym on a daily basis! This class uses agility ladders, dot drills, agility hurdles, plyometric boxes and much more!

CORE

Tabata Core & More

NEW! Come experience this interval training cycle of maximum intensity exercise, followed by a short rest, repeated without pause for a number of sequences. This 2:1 work/ rest ratio increases aerobic and anaerobic fitness levels in a short amount of time. This workout will keep your heart pumping and your body t. Core exercises combined with cardio and strength will give you the perfect total body workout. This workout is not for the faint of heart, but can be adjusted for all fitness levels.

Step it Up

This high-energy workout is the perfect way to end your week and kick off your weekend! It incorporates basic step combinations and power moves to challenge and enhance your fitness level. Not your typical step class!

Hard Core**

This class concentrates on strengthening and toning up your entire midsection. With its alternating abdominal and back exercises you are sure to get a core workout like never before!

Muscle Confusion**

An action-packed class that will get your heart rate and body moving. By incorporating body weight exercises along with high energy cardio intervals this class will push you to the limit! Designed to develop endurance, agility and a strong core! This class will keep you guessing, you will never know what to expect!

Ab Lab

Take a break from your academic classes and join us for a lab like no other! Come learn all the essential moves for a strong core. With a variety of exercises concentrating on abdominals, obliques, and lower back muscles you will see and feel the results of your e orts! All students get an A+ for Attendance and an E for Effort!

SPINNING


Spinning®**

Unmatched way to make your fitness goals a reality. With no complicated moves to learn, and music that begs your legs to pedal, getting into the best shape of your life has never been more fun!

Core Stability**

Come learn all the essential moves for a strong core in this convenient 20-30 minute class.  A strong core will keep your musculoskeletal system in the best position to function at its most effective and efficient ability.  With a variety of exercises concentrating on abdominal's, oblique's and lower back muscles, you will see and feel the results of your efforts!

Spinning Yoga**

Looking to reduce stress, improve flexibility, increase stamina or cross-train for other activities?  This cutting edge class is calling your name!  This class is a new hybrid of the intense cardio of Spinning and the strength and flexibility elements of Yoga.  Please see the Reception Desk to get a Spinning ticket prior to class to reserve your spot!


PRE-REGISTERED

Belly Dancing*

Women of all shapes and sizes can enjoy this class. The course is designed for dancers of all levels, including those who have no dance experience. Learn specific controlled movements that are used in Middle Eastern Dancing along with choreographed dance routines to link individual movements together. Pre registration and $10 class fee required. Sign up at the Student Fitness Center front desk.

On Track**

Need to get back "on track" with your workout routine or start your week "on track?"  This BRAND NEW class combines cardio on the indoor track with other new equipment in the Student Fitness center such as rowing machines, a TRX Suspension System, equalizers and so much more!
