 | The Outdoor Recreation Sports Complex or "Rec Plex" is an outdoor facility at SIUE that covers many aspects of Campus Recreation. The Rec Plex consists of the Rec Plex pavilion which houses concessions and rest rooms as well as several fields for different purposes. | |
The Club Sports Field is a full size football or soccer field with no lights or irrigation. It is only available when the field can support the requested use and at the discretion of Campus Recreation.

This field is 100% grass and has lights and irrigation to maintain the grass. NO stakes of any size are permitted anywhere on these fields. These fields can be setup for various sports including flag football, soccer and other activities.

This field is primarily used for slow pitch softball. The softball field has a dirt infield and grass outfield. Lights are available and this field does have an irrigation system.

These fields have no lights and are traditionally used for outdoor soccer and student organization activities scheduled during afternoon hours. Fields can be set-up for flag football, soccer, ultimate disc as well as many other activities.
(jump to top)The pavilion features a barbeque grill, a concession stand, electrical outlets, picnic tables, a public address (PA) system, restrooms, and a fixed water/service station.

All fields have line markings for the club or intramural sport that is in season. If additional line striping is required, groups will be charged a flat amount per field for that service. Standard rental rates do not include lighting. Groups requiring field lighting will be charged an hourly fee for that service.

**Functions sponsored exclusively by SIUE Student Organizations where the function is targeted at 100% student participation, and is not fundraising in nature will be reserved free of charge.** Requests for these types of events should still made at least one week in advance.
