Student Fitness Center - Friday 3:30pm - 10:00pmSIUE Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni members of the SFC can bring your immediate family (spouse and children), free of charge, to the Student Fitness Center on Friday evenings starting at 3:30pm. You can play various sports, exercise or even climb in the Bouldering Cave all free for you and your family.Indoor Pool - Friday 3:30pm - 8:30pmAll SIUE Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni members of the SFC can bring your immediate family (spouse and children), free of charge, to the Vadalabene Center Indoor Pool on Fridays. It's a fun and inexpensive night out for the entire family.Cougar Lake Outdoor Pool - Monday 6:00pm - 8:00pmAll SIUE Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni members are permitted to bring their immediate family to the pool and use the facility at no charge. Immediate family is defined as the spouse and children of the approved facility user.
Twice a year (once in the Fall semester and once in the Spring) Campus Recreation offers a film shown in the Vadalabene Center Indoor Pool. These films are always family friendly and everyone has a great time.
One saturday every month of the semester, the Campus Activities Boards hosts Cougar Kid Saturdays. These events are educational and fun, and tickets are free for students ($3 for Faculty/Staff). Find out more information about upcoming Cougar Kid Saturdays here.

The SIUE 9-Hole Disc Golf Course is officially open to the SIUE community. All members of the SIUE community are invited to take advantage of the new Disc Golf Course located south of Prairie Hall. The course's first tee is near the Sand Volleyball court. There is no charge to use the course. Players may use their own discs (Frisbees) or check one out at either the front desk of Prairie Hall or the Equipment Issue counter at the Student Fitness Center. Parking for the course is limited, so players may have to park elsewhere and walk to the course. For more information and disc golf rules, click here.
Campus Recreation offers a climbing gym with a 1500 sq ft. climbing wall that features 15 belay stations, numerous climbing routes, an artificial crevice and a 45-degree overhang. The wall, made of simulated rock and affixed with a wide variety of hand and foot holds, provides climbers of all ages and abilities with unique physical and mental challenges that help to build strength, endurance and self-confidence.
