The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Club Sports program is a group of student organizations that provide programs for instruction, recreation or competition in a specific sport or physical activity. The Club Sports program is housed in the Department of Campus Recreation at SIUE to provide students greater access to the resources at the University.The Club Sports program contributes to the overall learning process of organization, administration, leadership and professional development for each student involved. To reinforce this learning opportunity, Campus Recreation takes on an advisory role to provide consultation in the continuing development of the student and the club. SIUE affiliated clubs often travel the nation to compete against various schools, clubs and associations of the same sport or interest. Club members must keep in mind that they are affiliated with SIUE, so proper representation at all times is essential to their continued existence and support.
The Club Sports program is open to all SIUE students. All individuals are encouraged to join and/or form a club of their own.
