Looking for a fun and exciting alternative to traditional exercise? The Climbing Gym provides climbers of all ages and abilities with unique physical and mental challenges to build strength, endurance and self-confidence. The 1500 sq. ft. Climbing Gym features 15 belay stations, multiple climbing routes, an artificial crevice, and a 45-degree overhang. The Climbing Gym is open to all members of the SFC. Guests are required to purchase a "Guest Pass" from the Reception Desk.

Climbing workout equipment will be available which include rock rings, hang board, exercise ladder, etc; available during open hours.
Workouts will be available by time and by level: beginner, intermediate, advanced and elite.Hours are subject to change and will be posted outside of the Climbing Gym.

Available for use whenever the Student Fitness Center is open for operation, perfect for when the Rockwall is not open!
Renting the Climbing Gym
University and community groups of all ages, including children, can rent the Climbing Gym for birthday parties, team building, professional development, and other special events. Rental allows exclusive use of the wall for a two hour time period. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. All participants are required to fill out a waiver of liability. Climbing 201: Intermediate Climbing
Learn advanced equipment, techniques, and lead climbing skills. Then take this information with a day trip to Upper Limits. (Must have completed a Belay Class). For more information about Upper Limits click here!
