Dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and physical care, the University Religious Center serves the entire SIUE community, regardless of individual spiritual beliefs. World-renowned architect, philosopher and teacher, R. Buckminster Fuller, designed the SIUE Religious Center in 1971. Fuller, a former member of the SIUE faculty, created the Center as a transparent replica of planet Earth.
